Are the victors of WW2 turning to ideologies that rejuvenate their power rather than relying on faith in freedom?

Summary

The sea is the medium (the incubator) that hosts the fish. When the medium (the host) becomes polluted and unable to provide the fish with a healthy environment for growth, the fish either abandon the host in search of a new incubator or remain and die. This paper aims to demonstrate that the decision made by the victors of World War II (the western European monarchs and republics) to deviate from the work program suggested in the UN Charter and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), allowing the international intergovernmental organization known as the United Nations to become a corrupt and polluted host, may be causing them to lose command and control of the international order. The paper will attempt to support that if the victors of WW2 do not stop their critical thinkers and servants (governments and international institutions) from regarding themselves exempt from observing the work program stipulated in the UN Charter or the UDHR, it would not be possible to avoid their backwardness challenging the dominant role of the victors of WW2, thus inducing two basic truths. The first is that the victors of WW2 would live to witness the slow death or collapse of their power, wealth, and status, just as happened to previous rulers and kings who assumed that their critical thinkers and servants would be there for them to protect them and save them but were wrong, and new families/dynasties started to play their role. The second is to count on the element of time helping them to restore or stabilize the international order without the constant act of subjugation that people coerce on each other in the name of freedom, human rights, social justice, etc., affecting their power, wealth, and status.

Analysis

The Nobel Peace Committee awarded the 2023 Nobel Peace Prize to an Iranian human rights activist who the Iranian government has been imprisoning since 2021. The Nobel Peace Committee announced that this body awarded the Nobel Peace Prize to this Iranian activist for “her fight against the oppression of women in Iran and her fight to promote human rights and freedom for all.”

Throughout history, the person who possessed wealth, power, and status (the fittest) proclaimed himself to be an authority on change. The Nobel Peace Committee is not any different.

For example, when the number of transgender people (or the number of aborted people) increased in all the land, the Catholic Church (the fittest) announced that it would be open to tolerating abortion or blessing same-sex couples instead of continuing to stand firm on its previous canonical position on such issues.

Many people believe that the Quran is a revelation from God. In the Abrahamic religion, the Quran was revealed after the Old Testament and the New Testament of the Bible. Surah Al-Baqarah in the Quran suggests that there should be no compulsion in religion, as the truth clearly distinguishes itself from falsehood. [Al-Baqarah 2:256]. The Catholic Church’s attempts to transform into a more progressive church theoretically conform with what God understood to be necessary, perhaps to retain adherents in modernity.

At the same time, the flexibility that the Catholic Church and other religions around the world are demonstrating on topics that were previously considered unlawful, including their refusal to judge how people should live their lives, could be a cause for concern. The Catholic Church and the other religions of the world appear to be withdrawing from this patriarchal role that such institutions played throughout the last two millennia to transform societies so that the world becomes a better and more peaceful place. In other words, if everyone makes a living by worrying about how others should behave, why are the leaders of this process so relaxed??

This step back that the Catholic Church and all the religions of the world have taken in recent years, especially when it comes to how certain common standards should constantly be observed to reduce disregard and contempt, such as the Mosaic laws, means one of two things. The first is that this withdrawal of the church and other religious entities from providing moral clarity was designed so people would go back to relying on tradition to preserve their power, wealth, and status instead of on faith or religious scripture. In this way, the confusion, dynamism, and chaos that people would experience would make a large number feel incapacitated and involuntarily obliged to surrender freedom to God or to the individuals who claim to be his deputies on earth. The second question is whether this step back is a result of modernity causing the idea of God to lose its significance. In other words, people found another alternative to replenish the spiritual growth that religion was providing. This alternative is the increase in awareness and knowledge that modernity is offering without any conditions.

Indeed, in recent years, the church and other religious entities have retreated, allowing a significant number of people to occupy the space they vacated. Many people make their living today by trading in principles (standards and norms); they say it was a revelation from God or from here on earth. The only issue is that those who want to decide what natural and legal rights their neighbors should have want others to follow their proposed principles, as their ancestors did. Their success was by “not doing what they were saying.”

Evidently, the withdrawal of those who trade in religious values from their God-given role, along with the refusal of individuals filling the void to practice what they preach, has prevented progress on standards and commodities like freedom, social justice, equal rights, love, and patience. Most importantly, this strategy failed to encourage people to turn to the law or help any of the individuals involved achieve their goals despite the incessant resistance of others.

In fact, the dynamism that the world has experienced since 1945 seems to be fragmenting and degrading human relations, similar to how various sources of pollution degrade and worsen water quality and habitats. Even though we seem to live in a dynamic ecological framework, we can observe that certain natural physical phenomena can create balances, such as when turbid water becomes clear or shows a less murky appearance. Animals also demonstrate their ability to establish a balanced relationship between predator and prey. For example, the lions and the buffalo do not come together and agree to create conditions of stability and well-being and peaceful and friendly relations between those two species based on respect for the principles of equal rights.

In mathematics, convolution is “a mathematical operation on two functions that produces a third function that expresses how the shape of one is modified by the other.” In addition, in mathematics, the term “convolution” refers “to both the result function and to the process of computing it.” The convolution that people are producing can lead some individuals to question the validity of the perception that “leaving the wilderness wild is the best method of conservation.” Not only is it not possible to establish any cross-correlation from the convolution that people generate, but a large number are wondering if indeed the disruption of the natural order that people generate in their search to secure the rights suggested in scriptures or constitutions is not programmed to confiscate and inhibit freedom instead of to create balance. In other words, all the bodies, institutions, unions, coalitions, agreements, and contracts that people create between different units of authorities do not ensure efficient and effective conservation of existing deliveries but instead lead to a culture of despair and submission to the prevailing disregard and corresponding thwarted efforts to stabilize relations.

Indeed, the constant allegations of corruption and sexual harassment that the Catholic Church and the rest of the religions of the world are regularly pestered with, and the allegations of corruption and sexual harassment scandals that the Nobel institution is also regularly grappling with, must be making Jesus and Alfred Nobel roll over in their graves in anger and shame for eternity.

The convolutions that such disregard produces cannot help our different communities become more resilient but rather invite people to wonder whether or not the purpose of religion, the Nobel Committee, governments, etc. is to subvert the will of people so the fittest can use the ideas that each group is promoting for their own benefit.

Surely, when we split the political and economic agenda that, on its premise, the Catholic Church runs its business from the essence that this institution promotes (i.e., truth), or the one that the Nobel institution depends on to give its awards values (i.e., monetary prizes), or the one governments depend on to make people be ready to voluntarily surrender freedom to them (peace and security), we find that the dogmatic principle that those three entities depend on to make people be ready to voluntarily surrender freedom to them is immortality. At the same time, history has shown that individuals who preach about truths, award prizes to freedom fighters, or legitimize and enforce natural and legal rights without advancing (or observing) the values that they are preaching have proven to be a detriment to all those who relied on such instruments to improve human worth, especially when such mindfulness was applied in political life.

For example, in the 1950s, Robert Helmer MacArthur (1930–1972), a Canadian-born American ecologist, reported in a study that he found five different species of warbler coexisting in the same tree, as each species utilized different parts of the same tree for its own habitat. This phenomenon, known as “ecological niche” or “niche partitioning,” has appeared in nearly every ecology textbook published since the 1960s. This niche partitioning implies that it is possible for different classes of the same species to create a temporary equilibrium (i.e., a balance).

If we compare how the warblers were all doing, sharing temporarily the same ecological niche or role in the environment, to the way humans are doing it as of 1945, we observe that the balance that humans are trying to build has been fragile, delicate, and easily disturbed. Humans are often unwilling to accept that change is constant or to exercise patience, unlike the warblers, who adapted to their circumstances for better or worse in the days ahead.

For example, at the end of WW2, the victors of WW2 (the families/dynasties that control the western European monarchs and republics) announced that the barbarous acts that ensued during WW2 outraged their conscience, and they decided to grant independence to all the people (societies) they were dominating, subjugating, and exploiting so every member of the human family could have the right to freedom and justice. Most likely, the mindfulness about human rights exhibited by the victors of WW2 at the end of the war was intended to test their ability to command and control the international order, thereby achieving what ancient rulers and kingdoms had grappled with since the beginning of time but ultimately failed to accomplish: the creation of a world government. To command and control the international order, the victors of WW2 are required to build a just society bound by moral virtue and principles of good governance.

As part of the victors of WW2’s plan to establish a single political authority with jurisdiction over all of earth and humanity (i.e., become the deputy of God on earth and rule the world for eternity), they granted independence to all the people (societies) they were dominating, subjugating, and exploiting, including the societies they vanquished during WW2. Next, the victors of WW2 demanded that all the people (societies) they freed promote the development of friendly relations by becoming members of an international intergovernmental organization, which they created and named the United Nations. Additionally, to encourage a global commitment to the aspiration of universal peace, the victors of WW2 invited all the societies they had liberated to participate in creating the rules for the international system, which included urging these societies to actively work towards achieving the United Nations’ ideal of universal peace.

The project of the victors of WW2 (the western European monarchs and republics) to create a single political authority with jurisdiction over all of earth and humanity that the people would rule over was progressing according to plan as of 1945. All the dazzling work that the victors of WW2 and their critical thinkers (political and military theorists, mathematicians, physicists, priests, philosophers, and historians) and servants (governments, non-state actors, and international institutions) carried out to support how they were working in great unity to build and maintain post-conflict peace and stability resulted in the collapse of the Soviet Union or bloc in the 1990s. The Twin Towers bombing in the United States in 2001 helped the victors of WW2 make the largest transformation toward attaining their goal of creating a world government. The 9/11 attacks, which occurred at the beginning of the 20th century, interconnected the world’s security and economic systems. After the 9/11 attacks, the victors of WW2 standardized the orderly and humane management of people worldwide. For instance, tracking financial transactions, communication, and transportation across borders became standards.

The increased dynamism of the 20th century may be due to the ongoing dismantling or updating of regimes that still lack total control over their processes by the victors of WW2 (the western European monarchs and republics) in the hope of renewal, which makes the people of those affected societies surrender their freedom to them. At the same time, the dynamism that has swept the world in recent years could be due to the international system running on its own or out of control. This is because people were not granted the right to create a future or know it. In other words, the victors of WW2, along with their critical thinkers and servants, believe they are in control of the international order and all related matters.

The fact that people were not granted the right to know if the international order is under control or not, including whether it is running on autopilot or on its own or not, means that the victors of WW2 do not know if the dismantling or updating that they are carrying out with their critical thinkers and servants to get their ways despite the resistance of others is enabling people to establish balance, as Robert Helmer MacArthur found five different species of warbler in the 1950s doing. This is very serious and worrisome. This is because while the victors of WW2 are dismantling or updating the international order to create a single political authority with jurisdiction over all of Earth and humanity, their critical thinkers and servants are not observing the principles that they are teaching and are regarding themselves exempt from this appeal. This also means that the victors of WW2 can never achieve their goal of creating a single political authority with jurisdiction over all of earth and humanity, because the more their critical thinkers and servants dismantle or update the social order without observing the principles that they are teaching, the more the change that they would be creating (i.e., the convolution) would be producing a need to have more human action become involved to fix the order that was corrupted. This means that the efforts that the victors of WW2 could make to rejuvenate their powers and ensure lasting peace could never be achieved if their critical thinkers and servants (governments and international institutions) continue to inhibit their progress.

Indeed, if the international order is out of control and operates on autopilot, the ramifications for the victors of WW2 (the western European monarchs and republics) could be drastic. This situation can give rise to the re-emergence of great power conflict and conflict between great powers and small powers that usually gang up so they can have weight.

Surely, the challenge with the victors of WW2 letting the international order stay dynamic excessively or for a long period of time, as the case has been in recent years (rise in employment, poverty, corruption, disregard, wars, etc.), can pose a serious threat to the maintenance of their stability and security. This is because chaos upsets the stability of the financial system and its links, from the network to transactions, communications, protocols, transportation, standards, and even defense. The victors of WW2 rely on these activities to maintain their dominant role, and everyone participates in this system because its functionality contributes to their individual happiness. This financial system, which uses democratic capitalism as a tool to make people accept and create ordered relations, demands that people constantly share ideas, thoughts, and information to enhance and optimize yields.

The financial system that the victors of WW2 want to depend on to rejuvenate their power (i.e., requiring that people constantly share ideas, thoughts, and information to enhance and optimize profits) is completely antithetical to what people depend on to dominate, exploit, and subjugate each other. People dominate, exploit, and subjugate each other by keeping each other away from education and by suppressing the sources of information. Not to mention, competition appears to occur in nature.

Only one formula (remedy) can aid the fittest (the victors of WW2) to depend on democratic capitalism to create ordered relations and henceforth improve freedom and social justice worldwide. This formula entails that people give up their natural freedom and observe the natural and legal rights that the fittest legitimize. The fittest rely on critical thinkers and servants to get their way, so those helpers should lead by example.

For example, the founding fathers of the UN (i.e., the old powers) counselled the victors of WW2 to have the international intergovernmental organization that they created and named the United Nations coordinate their work and the work of UN member states and not to shift and expand the operations of these legal entities as they did so that their staffs provide political, economic, and social solutions in UN member states just as governments are doing.

The founding fathers of the UN (i.e., the old powers) counselled the victors of WW2 not to partake in having the international intergovernmental organization named the United Nations provide political, economic, and social solutions in UN member states just as governments do, because if the officials of this legal entity do not lead by example, the effect of such a downside will be tantamount to unquantifiable challenges to keeping the international order stabilized. This is because the victors of WW2 would have doubled the number of people who were providing parameters for everyday behavior for citizens without observing the standards and norms that they were legitimizing and enforcing and, henceforth, accelerated the collapse of their own power, wealth, and status, as well as that of their masters, the victors of WW2.

As I said before, people do not know if the constant wars, disregard, contempt, etc. that swept the world in recent years are due to the dismantling or updating of the political system so that the victors of WW2 do not have to, to this date, total control over its processes or if this abnormal rise in insecurity is due to the international order running on autopilot and out of control. What I do know is that as of 1945, we do not have government officials who regard themselves exempt from observing the work program suggested in the UN Charter and UDHR only, but the staff members of this international organization, the United Nations, and other international institutions are also practicing the same disregard. In other words, the decision of the victors of WW2 to grant rights to the international intergovernmental organization named the United Nations and others such as the IMF, World Bank, NATO, the EU, etc., to become economic operators is not accelerating the transition of people to a fairer and more sustainable world. To the contrary, this strategy is entangling the civil order of most UN member states in tensions and economically antagonistic challenges that could spiral toward a world revolution before the ensuing class struggle can be stabilized.

For example, to show to what heights the arrogance and corruption of the international intergovernmental organization named the United Nations have reached in recent years, I will share the background of this case to help in understanding the magnitude of the problem confronting the victors of WW2.

In 2013-2015, a UN staff member was working in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) for UNOPS (a UN agency), and when he refused to go along with the decision of his senior managers using the UN bank account to launder money, his senior managers asked him to pick between two choices: the first is to transfer temporarily to Sudan or wait in the DRC until his contract expires to go home permanently. In Sudan, this UN staff member committed the same mistake. He refused to prioritize the business interests of the United Nations (as his senior managers were using this legal entity to achieve) over the collective interests of humanity. He refused to accept the request of a DFID (the British government) official in Sudan to violate the UN financial rules and regulations on a project that Dfid was financing, and he was negotiating with this agency because this action could destabilize the credibility and security of Great Britain and, in particular, the British Crown. The same UN senior managers devised a plot to accuse him of being a threat to the interests of the United Nations to sideline him and, in this way, retain this business. In the same way the United States started detaining people on the ground of being a threat to its interests following the Sept. 11 attacks and then freeing them at its convenience, the United Nations placed this UN staff member (who is actually a US citizen) on administrative leave on the ground of being a threat to its interests. Next, the United Nations canceled the investigation without telling this UN staff member why he was placed on administrative leave and who filed a complaint against him, which is against UN rules and regulations. To show the ill will of the United Nations, while on administrative leave, the United Nations informed this UN staff member that it was restructuring and ended his contract. When this UN staff member filed an application in the UN courts, the UNOPS senior managers and lawyers offered to regulate his pension and health insurance, pay him a sum of money, and even offer him a two-year retainer contract if he agreed to drop the application he filed. When this UN staff member refused the offer of the UN lawyers because it did not include helping him resume his career development goal of becoming a UN resident representative, which he was working with his senior managers on attaining, he confronted a development that he was not at all expecting. After the UN judges reviewed all the background and details of this case, they colluded with the UN senior managers and UN lawyers to apply a technical penalty that dismissed the case of this UN staff member, thereby ensuring that the entire world is aware of how the United Nations has transformed since the victors of WW2 granted it the right to operate as an economic entity. That is to say, a temple that is not any different from the way Jesus found the teachers of the law and the Pharisees, who had converted the house of God in antiquity into a place to change money and sell doves. The only difference is that instead of UN executives—such as the UN Secretary General, senior managers, lawyers, and judges—exchanging money and selling doves at the United Nations, they are now commodifying ideas like equal rights, freedom, democracy, and social justice.

Evil does not thrive forever. In 2022, the senior managers of this UN staff member, who had been injuring with impunity, finally faced capture. Among the senior managers who were implicated in the 2022 UN corruption scandal is the former minister of defense and justice of Norway, who also served as minister of international development. Every year, the United Nations ranks Norway among the countries that are doing the most to improve human rights, democracy, and social justice around the world!

In fact, the UN Secretary General did not make any efforts aimed at rebuilding the credibility of the United Nations. Sadly, the organization did not reopen and review the cases of UN staff members who were abused, denied rights, or mistreated by UN senior managers involved in the 2022 UN scandal, nor did it take steps to compensate the innocent ones. The UN staff member, whose story is depicted in this work, wrote to the United Nations (UNOPS) requesting that his case be reopened and reviewed, given that the individuals implicated in the 2022 UN scandal were the same supervisors who had ganged up on him between 2013 and 2017, using their authority to deny him rights and get their way despite others’ resistance. The reply this former UN staff member got was that “this case was closed from the point of view of the UN.”

It is important for readers to understand that no individual can file a lawsuit against the United Nations in national judicial systems because the victors of World War II granted this international intergovernmental organization certain privileges and immunities. In other words, the United Nations can continue to cause harm with impunity until the victors of WW2 lift its privileges and immunities.

As the above case study shows, the way the United Nations system is disrupting the international order and weakening the power, wealth, and status of the victors of WW2 instead of strengthening them is very serious because this defiance can induce radical sociopolitical changes that can hurt the victors significantly. The most capable nations establish international institutions (legal entities) to utilize these tools for implementing effective national and foreign policies. The victors of WW2 can influence national and foreign policies by mandating international institutions to fight poverty and promote sustainable development, thereby gaining access to the recipient’s natural wealth and resources, which increases their influence in the territories of their rivals, including collecting intelligence and recruiting spies.

The refusal of the United Nations to reopen and review the cases of UN staff members whom the UN senior managers who were involved in the 2022 UN scandal abused, denied rights, or mistreated to compensate the innocent ones could be a position that the victors of WW2 are taking. At the same time, this arrogance could equally be due to the victors of WW2 depending on the wisdom of individuals to preserve their power, wealth, and status in this organization, who are sabotaging their aspirations.

The victors of WW2 can show bias and partiality on any issue, except matters that would cause people to oppose their continued influence or to allow them more power than others. That is to say, the victors of WW2 can never be in favor of giving reason to people to get together and to ruthlessly fight them to get in control of the axioms that they depend on to control violence for their own benefits. Those axioms are law and political order. This is because when citizens depend on their personal power and conscience to increase their happiness, the fittest become incapable of depending on law and order to rejuvenate their power (i.e., attain their way despite the resistance of others). This situation is very serious and worrisome.

To put it differently, if in addition to the victors of WW2 not knowing if the international order is under control or not, including running on autopilot (on its own) or not, the United Nations is sabotaging the aspirations of those powerful families/dynasties (the victors of WW2) to reduce the historical dynamic that has accompanied mankind since antiquity, then it would not be possible for the families/dynasties that control the United Nations to make people surrender freedom to them based on faith in their determination to reduce fear and want, and instead, they would be obliged to rely on ideologies.

If the victors of WW2 discover themselves obliged to turn to ideologies to rejuvenate their power, this means that they would not be able to rely on democratic capitalism to create ordered relations but on pre-1945 political solutions.

Throughout history, it has been the fittest who usually waged wars but the weak who ended them. No ruler or kingdom has ever succeeded in reversing the course of history once citizens have experienced freedom.

Can the victors of WW2 defeat the backwardness of the United Nations so they can stay in power when the officials of this intergovernmental organization are perverting the principles included in the UN Charter and the UDHR and are teaching people to hate them instead of to love them?

Can the victors of WW2 defeat the backwardness of the Nobel Committee so they can stay in power when the officials of this organization are teaching people to retain their freedom instead of teaching leaders to adhere to the law (standards or norms) enshrined in the UN Charter and the UDHR?

Can the victors of WW2 defeat the backwardness of the Catholic Church so they can stay in power when the leaders of the church (and all the other religions) are teaching people why they should not lead a life that conforms to the faith but one that conforms to their instincts?

Most importantly, can the victors of WW2 prevent their collapse if they do not request the United Nations to reopen the case of all the UN staff members that the UN senior managers who were involved in the 2022 UN scandal abused, denied rights, or mistreated to compensate the innocent ones, or strip from the United Nations this right of being an economic operator to create checks and balances to spare the world from becoming entangled in a social revolution that they cannot guarantee if its outcome would be in their favor or bring about their demise, as happened to most kings or kingdoms throughout history?

In conclusion, I do not know the answers to any one of the aforesaid questions. What I do know is that throughout history, people have relied on the same methods (i.e., force or the idea of good) to secure their personal goals or safeguard the ideas that are handed to them and depend on to increase their happiness. Until now, no one has managed to redefine the truth. The gestation of certain processes can take years or even centuries to develop, while others require only a very short period of time. We just have to wait to see if the victors of World War II will outlive the avarice of their critical thinkers and servants, or if the simultaneous flashing red lights in recent years—caused by innovations that these critical thinkers and servants are employing but refusing to acknowledge—will ultimately overwhelm them.
