Note to Readers

The books published by the Center examine questions concerning the victors of the Second World War and, in Salim Maloof’s analysis, the families and dynasties that inherited the power and position established by the postwar international order. They offer an independent perspective on the consequences of political and economic choices made since 1945, including the extent to which these choices departed from the principles and work program associated with the postwar order established by the victors.

The purpose is to provide readers, particularly those interested in these questions, with material for reflection and comparison of perspectives.

Readers who find the information, ideas, or advice published on this website useful in their own investigations are kindly invited, whenever possible, to acknowledge and quote the author and the source.

Supporting the Center

The Center also seeks support from those who believe that the questions raised in its work warrant sustained and independent examination. Its longer-term objective is to develop into a fully established center for research, debate, and independent examination of modernity, international affairs, governance, and related questions.

Those with substantial resources who wish to support this objective are invited to contact the Center. The proposed minimum level of support or pledge is $10 million.

Specialized Engagements

Governments or other institutions that find the Center’s work relevant to questions affecting governance, national security, foreign policy, or other important responsibilities are invited to contact the Center to discuss a possible specialized engagement.

Such engagement may include the further development, measurement, and independent empirical testing of the Global Human Security Theory, including examination of whether the mathematical relationships identified in the 2005 theory can be operationalized and tested against empirical evidence. Depending on the nature of the inquiry, such work may require access to institutional, governmental, demographic, economic, social, environmental, or other relevant data.
