Proposal: UN Corruption Index
The Center would like to lobby the United States Government so the inter-governmental organization named United Nations be designated a Corruption Index and a page on the World Factbook of the Central Intelligence Agency so people become educated about the threats this inter-governmental organization is posing. The victors of World War 2 proposed that a new intergovernmental organization replace the League of nations to co-ordinate a forum for political multilateral negotiations to encourage governments to solve international disputes by peaceful means. The victors of WW2 did not program that a new association of nations be created to take separate actions in the economic field to UN member states to attain the goals set forth in the preamble of the UN charter. The inter-governmental organization named United Nations has grown and encompass currently a community of people who are all discharging their responsibilities with immunities and without receiving from any government or from any other authority external to the organization instructions as per the way article 100 of the UN charter state. This force is bigger than the size of many existing nations.
The Center is also advocating that the judicial system that the inter-governmental organization named United Nations was granted right to operate be abolished, because it requires that any person who has a claim against this global council seek a remedy or judicial settlement exclusively through the mechanisms of this association of nations, which is a flagrant violation of human rights. This manner denies any person rights to seek remedy in an independent and impartial tribunal or through method of adjustments that is of one’s own choosing. It is void from any checks and balances, and most importantly, it is not in line with how the founding fathers of the United Nations suggested we should seek settlements:
* Point 1 of Article 33 of Chapter VI of the UN charter defines how nations have rights to settle their disputes: “The parties to any dispute, the continuance of which is likely to endanger the maintenance of international peace and security, shall, first of all, seek a solution by negotiation, enquiry, mediation, conciliation, arbitration, judicial settlement, resort to regional agencies or arrangements, or other peaceful means of their own choice”
* Article 13 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights defines how individuals have rights to settle their disputes: “Everyone has the right to an effective remedy by the competent national tribunals for acts violating the fundamental rights granted him by the constitution or by law.”
Wealthy people who think that having the Central Intelligence Agency include the inter-governmental organization named United Nations in its factbook could help them to better develop “intelligence” to decide if it is better to take their business to this inter-governmnetal organization or the private sector are encouraged to contact the Center to express interests about their readiness to make a financial contribution to launch this initiative. It is worth a lot to have the choice to seek remedies through impartial national judicial systems when the gap in power differentials between parties to any dispute is wide.
